Ron you have a tough row to hoe but it can be done. Getting broken studs out requires a good sharp center punch a set of sharp drills and a good set of easy outs. I prefer the square shank easy outs as I believe the bite in better than the spiral ones. Getting the punch in exact dead center is important and drilling , starting with a small drill and increasing the size up to the size of your easy out. Tap the easy out in with a sharp blow and start turning...don't be afraid to use some heat around the area of the broken stud...hopefully you will feel it break free and begin to turn...soak with penetrating oil before you begin the task...the night before..don't be afraid to drill larger and larger holes to get the bigger easy outs in...you can tap out the hole after even if it is burred and restore the thread. You need lots of patience, don't hurry..each bolt out is a moral victory..good luck from Mike in Exeter Ontario
