The 450D is a heck of alot bigger tractor than a C, your looking at 6000+ lbs. More people like the smaller tractors because you can move them around. Are you sure you want a beast like the 450? I like my 400D's but they are expensive to rebuild. Bigger is not always better. A good C is better than a bad 450, you could luck out though. Just make sure you check it out carefully. A non running diesel is a bad sign to start with.
