I've seen pumps mounted underneath the tractor and run with a belt underneath the tractor....it looks a little neater that way I think. As far as a reservoir, I used the belly pump for a reservoir for my live hydraulic pump. I ran a line from the drain plug, and ran another to the side outlets for a return line. Looks like factory. Good luck massaging the unit on there. There are no problems......only solutions. Jared Jeffries
