Make sure the 2 bearings in the driveshaft that goes thru the front of trans housing are good. There s/b no play in this shaft. Mine were shot. Also check 4th/5th sliding gear for wear. Rails and/or detents could be a problem. Shift lever pivot may be another place to look or the end of shaft could be worn. Let us know what you find. Good Luck. 3 splits in one year on same tractor sounds like a pain in the a**!
