Farmall C

I bought a Farmall C that has a bolt on three point hitch. The hitch is operated by two long rods extending back from the lift arms on each side. It seems to work well, but doesnt' have much lift capacity. It will only lift a 4X5 bail about three inches off the ground. Also, there is a fluid leak around the boot of the piston. Is this difficult to repair? Thanks.
