It is quite a job if you have never done it yourself. You should at least watch someone else do it a few times. There are so many little tricks to learn and there always seems to be other worn parts that you need to watch for. I sure wouldn't take it on yourself with out some knowledgable help. It will cost at least a $1000, maybe more. You first split the tractor between the TA housing and rear end. After you roll it out, you seperate the TA housing from the clutch housing and lay it on your bench and go to work. Safety is a big concern. You really need to brace the rear end well and your engine stand needs to be strong enough to support engine and TA, or you can use a TA stand with the engine stand, the better option. Good luck! You have a lot of work ahead of you.
