Although I am finding my new tractor hobby fun and challenging there are some questions that I have that no seems to have an answer for. I recently bought a '48'(?) FARMALL 'c' in about the same condition as the '600' with a tree growing through it.($250.00)It was suppose to be a simple winter project as the '48 H'I did last winter turned out GREAT!But,Before I can order any parts,I need some help with these questions.First , the serial # by the seat is FC1727,On the engine it is FCM1645 6.It is stamped just like that with the space between the 5 and the last 6. Is the #1645 or is it 16456 when ordering a rebuild kit or does it matter? Second, Does anyone know where I can by a new or good used Rod part #30926 DD?Sorry this took so long to read, but I can assure you that it took longer to type.
