IH 454 gear problem, please help

hi im a first timer here so, here goes.

Just purchases a IH 454, what a great tractor but now got some problems with the gears.

It had been jumping out of gear for a while but today it jumped out of reverse, so i put it in forward gear and it is stuck in that gear. When the lever is in the neutral position it is stuck in low range constantly. The lever wil not move sideways to go into reverse or low, but will move forwards to go into high but nothing hapens.

I really need some help here please
