Allen: With front mounted hydraulic pump and diesel engine, the 444 requires 17 gallons of fluid. Fill next to shift lever. Bring up to six inches of filler opening. Just did mine 2 weeks ago. Therefore I remember. David is right, of course, about the kind of fluid. If you have gas engine , repost. Maybe I will remember to check tonight. kajun
