Kelly, I'm with Farmer Bob on this one. $50 isn't too bad for new brakes, factor in your time and driving around to get the materials, assembly of the brake material and riveting vs out of the box and onto the tractor. Also is the job you do as good as the manufactured bands. I've done '35 Ford brakes and after you bend a rivet or chip the brake material you begin to see the pros of buying the bands. In either case good luck with your brakes. If your tractor is like mine were you have to do the seals behind the drums. Also you may need the brass bushings on the end of the brake activating lever where it mounts into the side of the tractor. Good luck from Mike in Exeter Ontario
