Go to the IH dealer and get an IH muffler for it. After your tractor is runing right it will purr like a kitten. Like gene b. said, there is more baffling in the IH muffler. I've had both Stanley and IH and I think the IH sounds much nicer. On the horsepower end of it I think you may get a little more from the stanley due to the straight thru design. But for a nice sounding tractor go with the IH unit.
