I run 85W-140 in my H and like it. The gears quit running soon after I push the clutch. The Super MTA on the other hand requires Hy-Tran and the gears will never stop turning so it has to be ground into gear.

Straight 90 will work fine, 85W-140 is just as good. Hy-Tran will cause more noise, but take less power to turn the gears.

BTW Hy-Tran is a CaseIH oil that is designed for combined transmission/hydralic service or either one separately.
