My Grandfather bought a new '53 Super M in June of '53 with a 448 4-row cultivator mounted on it upon delivery. It had the battery under the seat and it did not have live hydralics. In fact it never had the extra spool for 2-way hydralics until we installed it ourselves. We owned it until approx 10 years ago. New it was kind of a "plain-jane". Never installed power steering on it either, so it was always negleted because we had one with all the options.
