I have read that the throttle control lever on Farmall H tractors were horizontal levers mounted on a notched piece of metal. The lever would then be spring loaded to keep it from vibrating. On my 1940 Farmall H, my throttle control lever is a round lever with a ball on the end of it. It is not mounted on a notched plate, rather it is held by friction. On lever, it is stamped "MW Machine Works." It looks very old and looks like it could be original. Since it is not stamped with the IHC symbol, should I assume it is aftermarket or has anyone else seen any H tractors with this type of lever on it?
