no you havent you have a new tractor any used one is going to need these things done as they are 50some yrs old nice to have one where no leaks and stuff is life new you cannot buy anything new for that price it will outlast you be proud of it there are tons of people would like to have a restored one like yours the money thing depends on how much you can do yourself enjoy it
