I must admit I did throw the wrench away and used handle on my 3/4 drive socket and handle. I never used a hammer, nor would I consider buying a tractor with hammer marks on axles, that is my perogative with my money. I put 10,000 hours on my 1066 in 10 years, all of it using every hp that tractor had. All of it with duals and have used as many as 24 - 96 lb. front weights. I had one implement that put 6,000 lbs. on 3 point hitch. I never had a wheel come loose. I will say that only time I had wheels loosened was the day I put the duals on, and wedges were tightened to 600 ft. lbs. The wedge system was not a joke, what IH engineers didn't realize was that most of the people using it made a practice of reading manual if all else fails.
