Red, When I re-did the SC I got from Kim, I had the same indications on the crank journals. I used some long strips of emery cloth and cleaned them up real well. After about 30 minutes of running with the new rod and main bearings installed, my oil pressure was down to about 3 lbs at idle. Ended up dropping the pan and checking the mains again only to find the new bearings were already scored. Pulled the engine and removed the crank and had it turned 10/10. Installed another set of new under bearings and she holds 60 lbs oil pressure now. I share this so you don't end up like I did. The M will be alot more work than the SC was. Good luck.//FB
