Back when I was a Young lad farming with my Dad and Grand Dad we farmed with two 1950 Ms and two 1952 Super Ms. When we would plow with one M and one Super M we would have the Super M in 3rd and the M in 4th. The M was just a little faster in 4th then the Super M was in 3rd. On the hills the Super M would really walk away from the M. If we were really plowing deep then the Super M would be in 2nd and the M in 3rd. Again the M was just a little faster in 3rd the than the Super M was in 2nd. But there sure was a lot of difference power wise.
