Randy, that gasket breaking is a good sign that you need to rebuild - Bendix name often on a Zenith carb. You now have top and bottom halves, keep them seperate and rebuild one section at a time - this will keep it simple and not any risk of mixing a part...Purchase a gallon of carb parts cleaner at local auto store - have some shop cloths on hand... You will need an identifying mark on your carb - NAPA, Carquest, Tractor Supply or similar should be able to get you kit - take the carb with you or at least the top half for them to inspect - when you get above - Post and we will work thru rebuild - Allen R... (I posted a similar message earlier but I don't think it went thru, so if repeat on this you'll know....
