I used to swear by champion plugs, till I started having problems about 25 yrs ago, I had a race car that I had to replace the plugs every week when I went to the races, they would just break down and the engine would start missing. I tried other brands till I finally settled on Autolight. I could run them for at least 1/2 the racing season or longer. I've run autolight in just about everything since. Till I bought my Farmall H and I was using the champions, I kept fouling plugs but at the time the engine was burning so much oil, the fire dept. used to follow me around thinking I was on fire! When I overhauled the engine (9 months ago), I put in whatever it was that came with the magneto tune up kit, they weren't champions, but I need to change them now, as my tractor has developed a miss. I guess I'll specify the autolights.
