Greg I have never bought a tractor that I couldn't hear and see running and I have never been faced with costly surprises. What I would be suspicious of is that somebody robbed that mag because the tractor wasn't worth anything..ie not running, bad valves, burning oil and the mag was worth more to them than the tractor as a whole. On the other hand if you are a good Saturday mechanic you can build the tractor back up...so as to your question...in my opinion...a few hundred bucks as is...$600 to $800 running and thats running good. I paid $1100 for a good running H with new rears, I paid $650 for a good running H that was rusty and $700 for a B250 that hadn't run in 8 years...but I didn't buy it until we had it started and running in the lady's shed..its turned out to be a bargain. My attitude is not to get in a hurry..make an offer then walk away..tractors keep turning up and you will find what you want in the price range you want..Best of luck getting a tractor and e-mail me if you need H help Mike in Exeter Ontario
