It sounds like you need to do a little fixing on this tractor, actually this is pretty normal problems with older 06 IH, change the Hytran & filter, this way you have that fixed, it should be changed yearly anyway, the blue smoke is a mystery with your information, park linkage under your feet or steel deck on top of transmission is prone to fail because its forced down bending or breaking the threaded links, fix it for your safety or it will break reverse gear if not cared for.
