wheel color

What is the wheel color on a 1928 Farmall Regular? The tractor itself is the dark gray. My brother has one which was bought new by our dad and he remembers the wheels as the same dark color. At shows and in some ads they are shown as red. Is my brother having a "senior moment", or did they change the wheel color at some point? (This tractor was put on rubber tires and painted red in 1950, and he wants to restore it back to steel.)
