I am in the process of rebuilding both final drives and the transmission on my A. I have it all apart, cleaned and the new parts ready to install. Hope to get back to it this week end. I am replacing all of the oil seals, the transmission bearings (final drive bearings looked okay), oil gear, 3rd gear (got used part), and had the brakes relined. So far it hasn't been to bad of project. My biggest problem is drawing the line on what to replace. I initially started out just to replace the oil seals and the oil gear but once you get into it you find more things that are still working but show some ware.
