If it isn't of structural necessity (meaning it isn't going to crack anymore when you hit a bump or pull something) I would grind it out a little bit and use your favorite epoxy (ie JB Weld) on it. If it is something that could crack more, I would V it out and use a nickel rod and weld it. OR take it to a welding shop that can weld cast. Another good piece of advice, if it is cracked into the plug threads, screw a piece of pipe into the hole before welding and put a cap on it, use the pipe to drain so you don't have to disturb the crack again.
