Steve, Iwas at a consignment sale on Saturday. There was a 450 gas that had a power steering pump and reservoir mounted on the left side, I think onto the governor housing somewhere, but it was low enough so it was completely outside the engine sheetmetal, and low enough too. The pump and reservoir looked something like a Char-Lynn, but the tank was taller and the color was light green about the color of the old Owatonna 29 swathers. I don't know where the guy got the pump, but he made it work. I assume there was a Char-Lynn type steering motor under the hood.
