One of the better tractors ever built by IH. Nothing more than an M with real improvments. Tractor would never have had clam shell fenders, all 656s had flat tops. TA is much the same as 560. I however believe it was somewhat improved. I am just saying that having had both 560 and 656 and put well over 10,000 hours on each. I think it is a good buy, 656 is probably worth close to that as a parts tractor. Sounds like your getting a like new wide front and 3 point hitch. Both those items could have a lot of wear on a 30 year old tractor.
