First of all a W4 is not a Farmall. W series were not Farmalls. Both W series and Farmalls were products of International Harvester. My dad had a W4, and said all it was any good for was pulling things, like manure spreaders, hay wagons, trailer plows and harrows. Even if you could design a 3 point hitch, every implement raised would hit the seat. I supose you could extend it back, you would find it little more use than lift front end of tractor. I my opinion the only tractors 3 point hitch friendly are, tractors designed with operator mounting in front of rear wheel. Even the Farmalls of late 50s and early 60s with fast hitch, operator was much too close to hitch. Take that advise from one who had a lever from a corn planter, catch in hip pocket and back of seat, while lowering corn planter on the move. Believe me it is no fun having the seat pulled from beneath you and having to go with it, tractor moving.
