So what you are saying is the 2-3/4 axle for 460 was a special part and not a 560 axle. At the inner bearing and bull gears it was same size as 460 original axle. Just want to get this one straight. I am still bruised from last time. The interesting part of all of this is the first time I ever saw a 460 new at dealers, I said it was a dud. For very little more money you could have a 560, same dimensions and wheel base as 460. I saw the same when buying new 1066. 966 was $1,200. less and 766 was $2,000 less. 1466 was less than $1,000, more than 1066. The only item that stopped me on 1466 is dealer said no 540 take off. It was by far the cheapest hp. I have since seen dual take off on 1466.

On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
