HELP, I need a new battery in my C farmall.

I have a c farmall with a bad battery that I need to change, but how in the world do you get it out. I had a loader on this and the controls and hydrolic tank is bolted to the steering post. We tried to undo this because the tank sits right over the battery. There seems to be nuts on the back side of the bolts that are spinning so they won't come loose. In order to get into there it looks like the battery box needs to come off..but how do you get that off with this tank above it?
