I have the M&W "add Power" dome pistons in my block. We ran a compression check with the gas head and psi was 170-175, that relates to about 8.5 to 1 compression, after putting on the 450 head it checked out at 270-275 psi, about 10.5 to 1 compression. We estimate I am putting out around 95hp. If you stroke your crank you can use a Chevy 350 piston. A good friend of mine uses those pistons with a 7 1/4" crank and 450 head and is running in the 125hp range. We checked the clearance with the pistons I have, it is close to the head but does not hit it(about 1/2" cearance)the old IH "firecrater" pistons will hit the head, they are about .125 taller than the M&W pistons.

On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
