A good running BN in my neck of the woods might bring $800 to $1,200 at public auction. I don't know what the mower is worth.
What part of the block is cracked? Until it's torn down, it's anybody's guess what all is wrong with it. Might be simple and cheap, or it might not be. You could easily spend another $1,000 or more on that tractor to fix it depending on what is cracked on that block.
