I have just change two M's to the flex line. Felt I needed to change to an inline filter in the older tractors to catch all the small settlings. The only problem is obtaining the brass fitings the right size to go into the sediment bowl which I left in place and the carburetor in which I removed the screen into the carb thinking it might allow a better flow of fuel on my pulling M. One of the problems with the older tractors is getting the sediment bowl tight in the older tanks. With flexible hose you can tighten the sediment bowl until it is tight and then connect the flex hose. It goes anywhere.
