This past weekend I had the oportunity to go to Georgetown, TX as I was in the Austin area (I live in Georgia). About twenty or so years ago, I had been there and found a place in town near the railroad where there were many old, I mean real old like early 1900's, tractors parked together. I would guess 75 or more total. The newest are probably a few early 50's or late 40's JDs. At that time I talked to somebody and was told they were owned by some old man who would not sell anything. This weekend I decided to see if they were still there. I didn't see anybody but all of the tractors are still there growing up in the weeds and trees. I'm sure the owner has probably passed away and they are probably tied up in some estate. There are many old models of various tractors which I am sure are the only remaining example left in the world. It would be a shame for them to eventually just go to a scrapper. Does anybody know anything about the status, history, or owenership of these tractors? Harold H
