Hayne - I can think of several possibilities. Starting with the easiest stuff:

1 - Bad spark plug. Try swapping the #3 and #4 plugs. If #4 now misses at idle, suggest replacing all the plugs.

2 - Bad plug wire (do same as above only swap the plug wires....)

3 - Manifold leak at the head. With the motor idling spray WD-40 liberally around the perimeter of the #3-4 intake manifold flange. If #3 starts hitting when spraying the WD-40, you've got a vacuum leak. Remove the manifold and replace both gaskets.

4 - Sticking, poorly adjusted or burned valve on #3 cylinder. Do a compression test on all (4) cylinders. If compression on #3 is significantly lower than the others (10% or more), remove the rocker cover and check/adjust valve clearances. If clearances are OK, you're probably looking at a valve job.
