Guy, when I picked up my B, it wouldn't fit between the side rails so I had to put a plank on the side rail and run the left wheel on top of the side rail. My trailer was 76" wide. To carry mine without the gymnastics, I'll need a ramp on both sides to get the tires up over the side rails. If you have the bigger trailer width (I think that it is nearly 90"), the tractor will interfer with the side rails if you have the rear wheel weights. It is most inconvenient. I have 15 tractors and this B is the next to the smallest one and yet I can't get it on my trailer - all the rest will go on the trailer easily and the biggest weighs 6000 pounds and has 60 hp. I can't imagine why they made this tractor so wide. Good luck,

On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
