Original Super C Muffler

My grandfather has a Super C that he purchased in 1953. On my last visit he was talking about the original muffler and how much different the sound is from the replacement part he has on it now. I would love to surprise him with an original. I have searched several places on the internet and called many dealers, and have run into the same replacement part with a 2" outlet. I don't have the exact dimensions, but I know it needs to be smaller than that. Does anyone have any suggestions?
