The knobs you are refering to are really not adjustments for valves, they are for single action or double action hyd cylinders. You might have a problem with one cylinder leaking internally, valves dont leak that fast even when worn inside (fit of spool to body), you might try plugging into other circuit or swapping couplers/tips, I believe most probably internal rings leaking on cylinder.
