The PREFIX LETTERS for the McCormick Deering 10-20 are as follows; KC / NC / or NT. If there no serial number plate, then you would have to go to the SERIAL NUMBER on the motor / it is a raised smooth area - about 1/4 inch / and 3/4 inch by 2 and 1/2 inchs long. The motor serial number would be the same as the chassis serial number (if the motor has not been changed). The PREFIX LETTERS (on motor) would be; KCM / NCM / or NTM. The grease and paint would have to be removed to see the machined stamp Serial Number.
