How long are your axles? These tractors had optional longer axles. Standard axle was aprox. 84 inches from one side of tractor to other. The longer ones were about 100 inches side to side. If you had long axle you could do just about anything you want. Look at another senario, leave wheels as they are (dished out I presume) Get a piece of axle to put in proposed dual. Use a sleeve to couple axle in dual to tractor axle. For added strength add the cylinder spacer size of wheel at wheel weight bolt holes as I spoke of in previous post. Then put long bolts through wheel weight bolt hole from one wheel to other. I hope this gives a clear picture of my thoughts. Another item you might look at is discarding the extra cast hubs and converting your proposed dual rims to snap on. I don't know cost on any of this, but wouldn't hurt to check. The snap on duals are very quick to mount and dismount. Sounds to me as though you just want some added stability on those hills, duals will do that. I know it is good to leave these inside wheels out to give stability when not using duals. I see guys going around here with 100+ hp tractors, factory duals, inside set at 66 inch centres and duals off. They must be a tipsy rig. I know the few times I had duals off my 1066 and inside at 66 inch centres, it scared the H out of me driving around yard. If you have any more questions don't hesitate, I love this stuff.
