I think I broke a ring in my 460 starting with ether (NOT using the glowplugs) Now it blows raw fuel out the exhaust manifold. I wouldn't recommend it for a 460/560 diesel. Now instead of having a small tractor to mow, move hay and chore with....I have a engine tear down planned and I have to do that small stuff with a 100 horse tractor. You learn more from experience than anything other way.
