My dad wants the engine from his IH 201 hayswather put into his Farmall C. The farmall Cs engine has a broken crank and welded block. The C135 engine in the hay swather was rebuilt a few years ago and runs great. I've taken both engine out and have the C135 ready to put in the Farmall C. Only problem is it won't fit all the way in. I noticed the crank on the C135 doesn't have a hole in the end of the crank for the clutch shaft of the tractor to go into. Anyone have any ideas of how to get this engine in? Is there something that can be done or will he need to find a different engine?
