The mechanical diode TA's have there problems. I have a friend that went bought a 1086 so could finish planting his corn and beans. The dealer had put 4 TA's in his 1586 that spring. Ford put the mechanical diode in the Super Duty's automatic
transmission and the mechanical diode's are coming apart. requiring Ford to replace the transmission. The sprag that IH and Hi Capacity use is made by Borg Warner if they will rollover if to much power is applied. There is an after market sprag that will not rollover. Almost all of the rest of the remanufactures use the better sprag
