I know a guy who has somewhere in the order of 70-80 restored letter series Farmalls. His collection has every model of letter series ever built including all fuel types and all V as well as redular models. As well he has all Supers and non Supers. When I say restored I am talking complete mechanical and cosmetic restoration with all items authentic. He tells me when he started 20 years ago you could do it for $5,000. including cost of buying tractor to begin with. He told me that is now getting closer to $10,000. than he cares to think about. He probably doesn't put a whole lot of his own labour into actual restorations. He has tralelled most of North America to find some of these tractors. What is his collection worth; who knows?
