I am a retired police officer and have worked a few accidents where rollovers did occur mowing the slopes like you describe. Have you noticed though that most of the tractors they use for mowing like the Hesstons and Fords (New Hollands) which are popular around here, sit much lower than the standard tractors. They're also equipped with ROPs, and cages on the back to stop any debris thrown by the mower from reaching the operator. However the operators from rollovers I've interviewed all said it's still a wild ride when the flip over sideways.
