Question for Red Rider

I have a 606 with TA that is very hard to get out of gear. The TA is in direct drive either ahead or back. I have checked the adustment like the book says. My 560 has a TA that doesn't work in low side, but shifts easy. Anything I can do to get it to shift easy without spliting the tractor?
I don't need the TA to work at this time.
