when i reinstalled my crank pulley after rebuild i put the pulley in the oven and heated to 250 degrees grabed the wifes oven mitten and ran out of the house like it was on fire. the pulley sliped over half way down by itself and with a small brass hammer about five wacks it was in place with no harm to the seal. the wife didnt like me "cooking the pulley " in her oven but it really helped
