I acquired an F30 similar to the one you are describing. It had been sitting out for years, but I decided to restore it. Mistake. Also, my first tractor restoration project. Another mistake. I guess it's some kind of "romantic" notion to fix up one of these, since there are relatively few of them around, but in order to make it work, you must have unending amounts of time and an unending flow of cash, cause they are a bottomless money pit. I did complete the project, but the head gasket never did seal, so I'm now replacing all the head studs. This tractor, even tho it looks great now, was definitely over the hill and should not have been done. Just my .02. BTW, if you want to see it, it's on our family website www.Benmarl.com. I had just gotten it running 2 minutes before the picture was taken, hence no decals or exhaust pipe.
