New to tractors and enjoying reading these boards.. My brother and I just purchased a 1951 M and several implements, shredder, grain drill, two disks, irrigation furrowing plow and a drag blade. We paid $350 for all this and it seems we wouldn't be hurt much if we sold it as scrap iron. The tractor runs but the radiator is leaking slightly. We are excited to get this tractor running and painted. It has been converted to propane and ran fine at idle. Haven't driven it yet, but looking forward to it. We are hopng to buy a three point hitch and are wondering if this will require some additional hydraulic equipment. There is a long bar with a hydraulic cylinder running on the left side of the tractor that seems to control implements that would be underneath the tractor. We don't know where the control for this cylinder is located. There a two levers on the right side of the tractor that are tied with wire. We are trying to determine if that could be the control. As I said we've bought a pig in a poke here, but we're excited to see what we can do with this tractor. Any inforamtion or reference would be most appreciated.
