Don is right......when you have a wide front end, it still needs to articulate horizontally otherwise you would get no traction to both rear wheels when on uneven surfaces. This means that either way the tractor will tip about the same (Wide or Narrow).However if the tractor is not tipping fast enough to overcome the front wide axle once it has reached its "STOP" then it is likely it would prevent it from rolling over. I think most rollovers are due to a sudden upsetting movement;I.E. driving into a ditch or trying to go back up a hill once you have started down.Common sense is still the best rule my Dad ever taught me when it came to driving his old "C".
